Natalia Alvarez Quintero

Natalia Alvarez Quintero is graduate student in U of T’s Department of Geography & Planning.

She is an architect and urban planner from Colombia, with four years of experience in the urban planning sector, including in the structuring of territorial planning instruments, the interpretation of decrees and urban regulations, and consultation with public and private entities.

Natalia’s research interests include urban inequities, their roots, and how to address them through adequate planning policies, mostly in Latin America. She is passionate about social and community planning in both rural and urban territories to implement better inclusion systems.
