KUMSA BAKER

Kumsa Baker is the Director of Community Engagement and Campaigns at Toronto Community Benefits Network. His work at TCBN, a community-labour coalition, has helped to advance public policies and inform equitable practices in transit infrastructure and urban development in Toronto.

Kumsa has over 10 years of experience in community and youth engagement, coalition building and advocacy related to decent work, community benefits, and fair economies. He serves as Treasurer of Neighbourhood Legal Services, a community legal clinic in the Downtown East.

I (we) wish to acknowledge this land on which the University of Toronto operates. For thousands of years it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and the Mississaugas of the Credit.
